Overview
Grota do Cirilo, situated in Minas Gerais, Brazil, is the country’s largest known lithium deposit and contains high-grade spodumene that serves as a critical resource for lithium-ion battery production. In Q3 of 2024, production continued to ramp up and obtain premium quality product pricing at the mine. Operator Sigma Lithium recently announced the commencement of earthworks for its Phase 2 expansion project.
