Highlights
- The Natashquan Project represents a new PGE-Cu-Ni discovery in an underexplored frontier area of Labrador some 140 km south of Churchill Falls.
- Widespread copper, nickel and PGE mineralization within mafic to ultramafic intrusive rocks assigned to the late Paleoproterozoic Mealy Mountains Intrusive Suite of the Grenville Province.
- A 2008 Aerotem Survey by Altius led to the discovery of heavily disseminated to massive, magmatic sulphide bearing outcrops from which grab samples returned assay values of up to 8.35% Cu,1.07% Ni, 0.13% Co and 3.48g/t Pt-Pd-Au.
- Mechanical trenching exposed mineralized outcrop intermittently over a strike length of 380 meters. Channel samples from the northern part of this trend returned values of up to 1.14 g/t Pt-Pd-Au, 1.59% Cu, and 0.27% Ni over 4.40 meters.
- During a 2013-2015 JV with Anglo American, 8 shallow drill holes for 1,386 metres, represents the only diamond drilling to date on the project.
- Several EM-Mag conductors identified during the 2013-2015 geophysics in the project area remain untested by basic prospecting and drilling.
